The City of Toledo, Ohio, has reduced the number of take-home vehicles from 82 to 49 in an effort to cut costs, the Toledo Blade reported. Sixty-one vehicles are assigned for take-home use, but of those only 49 are going home with employees every night.
The city’s finance director said the city would save $84,000 a year by reducing its take-home fleet.
