The Northern California Clean Technology Forum brings together regional and national fleet managers and industry stakeholders to explore available technology and vehicle options today as well as looking at policies, incentives, and regulations helping to move the market.

Bill Van Amburg, CALSTART's senior vice president, will provide a welcoming address on the state of the clean commercial vehicle industry. The program will focus on funding and incentives, future technologies and issues, and vehicle electrification. The event also includes a medium-and heavy-duty ride and drive. Government Fleet 2015 Fleet Manager of the Year Bill Griffiths from Montgomery County, Md., will also speak at the forum. 

The schedule is as follows:

  • Oct. 19: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.: Opening reception and Clean Air Champion awards
  • Oct. 20: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Forum and expo, ride and drive, lunch included

The forum will take place at the California Automobile Museum in Sacramento and is free to attend. Fleet managers also have the option of attending a NAFA Sustainable Fleet training program for a fee.

This event is hosted by Calstart, the Sacramento Clean Cities Coalition, the East Bay Clean Cities Coalition, NAFA, and the Northern California Chapter of MEMA. Register for the Clean Technology Forum here.
