The Oklahoma Public Fleet Management Association (OPFMA) will hold its annual convention Sept. 15-16 in Muskogee, Okla., at the Muskogee Civic Center. The event is designed for fleet practitioners from Oklahoma and surrounding states to come together, share best practices, and collaborate on ideas. About 200 attendees are expected.

The keynote speaker for the event will be Bill Griffiths from Montgomery County, Md. Other speakers include Bridgestone Engineering Manager T.J. Tennent; Lisa Dodson from Wichita State University; Ben Nelson from the City of Wichita; and leaders of the Oklahoma Clean Cities Coalition. Convention topics include: running a successful warranty recovery program, predictive maintenance, lifecycle costs and replacement schedules, the benefits of alternative fuels, connecting with leadership, and using data to tell your story. 

The convention will also include participant roundtable discussions, a vendor showcase, and tour of Muskogee’s fleet maintenance facilities.
