The Waynesboro (Pa.) Borough Council is considering disbursing its vehicles in favor of a leased vehicles fleet to reduce maintenance costs, reports Herald Mail Media.

Under the plan proposed by Enterprise Fleet Management, the borough would sell its existing trucks, sedans, minivan and SUV and replace the vehicles with 12 vehicles under open-end leases. The borough would continue to own its patrol fleet.

The move would save the borough about $70,000 per year.
