Great Parks of Hamilton County, a political subdivision of the state of Ohio, is accepting applications for a fleet manager. This is a full-time position based in Winton Woods.

The fleet manager is responsible for directing the operations of the park district's fleet maintenance program. This includes overseeing technicians, purchasing vehicles, determining replacement cycles, ensuring vehicles are safe and comply with regulations, maintaining fleet data, developing the annual budget, overseeing the fuel system, and working with user departments.

A qualified candidate has an appropriate combination of education, training, course work, and experience. An example of an acceptable qualification is: High School Degree or GED and completion of an accredited mechanical training program, with training in fleet maintenance operations and 5-7 years of experience that evidences a comprehensive knowledge of the administration of a large fleet maintenance operation, including budget preparation, analysis and control, automatic data processing systems and controls, financial accounting responsibility, and basic work experience and/or training in mechanical repairs of gasoline and diesel engines.

Preferred: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business, Public Administration, Automotive or a related field and 3-5 years of varied and responsible experience in the administration of a large fleet maintenance operation,  basic work experience, and/or training in mechanical repairs of gasoline and diesel engines. 

Annual salary range is $44,411 to $66,617. Typical starting range is $44,411 to $49,962.
