Terex South Dakota is recalling 97 2014-2015 model-year Terex Aerial Devices and General Digger Derricks because faulty fasteners may result in the boom falling, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports.

At issue are fasteners that attach the turntable bearing to the carrier and the aerial or digger derrick. These aerial devices and digger derricks were manufactured from March 28, 2014, to March 1 of this year.

Terex dealers will check these bolts and replace them if necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin this month.

Owners can reach Terex customer service at (800) 982-8975. Terex's number for this recall is SN616.
