Fleets who order special versions of Ford's 2015 F-150 pickup truck can expect to receive their vehicles in February, following the arrival of more standard versions later this year.

As one example, if a fleet orders an F-150 equipped with a snow plow, the vehicle would be delivered in February. However, an F-150 equipped with a snow plow prep kit may arrive at a Ford dealer's lot, and could be acquired later this year, according to Mike Levine, Ford's truck communications manager.

"Those fleet customers who do not have special requirements will be able to buy and drive F-150 pickups off dealer lots late this year," Levine told AutomotiveFleet.com.

The order bank for the redesigned aluminum-heavy truck opened in late July. Prices increased slightly over the 2014 model with the base XL model starting at $26,615.
