Lake County, Ohio, commissioners have awarded contracts to two local dealers to provide maintenance service for fleet vehicles, following the sale of the county fleet garage.
Classic Chevrolet in Mentor will repair the county's general fleet vehicles, while Classic GMC in Painesville will repair sheriff's office vehicles, reports the News-Herald.
The county is in the process of selling its vehicle maintenance garage for $1.8 million. As part of the deal, the dealerships will provide a 25 percent parts discount to the county.
