Monmouth County, N.J., earned $95,205 from a recent surplus auction, which included a total of 99 items for bid, 50 of which were vehicles. The County also sold heavy construction equipment and lawn equipment, in addition to other items.

The County conducted the auction between May 4 and May 15, and worked with Auction Liquidation Services of Eatontown. Monmouth County used an online auction to sell the items. The total revenue the County has received with its online surplus property auctions is $2,017,488.
