The City of Sterling Heights’ department of public works is working with VSE Corp. to run a pilot program where the City will use VSE’s corrosion-protection product, called VSeal, on the department’s fleet vehicles.

The anti-corrosion compound is canola-oil-based, according to VSE, and is designed to help the fleet reduce its maintenance costs by preventing corrosion. VSE stated the product has been tested on more than 200,000 vehicles used by branches of the military.
