In late March the City of Ocoee, Fla., awarded a new parts contract to NAPA. According to City documents, the contract will save the City 15% to 20% through access to NAPA’s on-site store. The City’s annual vehicle parts budget is $596,700, so this will result in savings between $75,000 and $100,000.

The City said it plans evaluate the inventory of the City’s parts room along with NAPA, and that NAPA would give the City a credit of $30,000 for the parts currently in inventory.

The City is a member of the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA), which gave the municipality access to NAPA as a parts vendor.
