The State of Oklahoma has engaged CST Fleet Services for a comprehensive fleet operations and maintenance assessment. CST will evaluate and assess the operations and maintenance of the approximately 10,200 vehicles and equipment the State operates and maintains across seven fleet locations.
“This comprehensive evaluation of our fleet assets, maintenance and fuel management will enhance Oklahoma’s ability to provide effective fleet services at the lowest possible cost to our taxpaying citizens,” said Carol McFarland, Performance and Efficiency Division director within the Office of Management and Enterprise Services.
The State obtained the contract with CST through the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA).
The assessment began in Februray, and CST plans to provide the assessment and recommendations in early May, according to Jon White, partner, CST Fleet Services.
