Paccar Winch has introduced the newest addition to the Braden Utility Bumper lineup with the UBL Bumper.

The UBL Bumper features a lightweight aluminum shell with a heavy-duty steel super-structure to accommodate both TR12 and TR15 Planetary Recovery Winches. The system was specifically developed for direct bolt-on installation on 2017-2022 Ford F350, F450, and F550 trucks to offer self-recovery capabilities for the Super Duty vehicles used in a variety of field applications.

The modular design of the UBL Utility Bumper System allows for fast installation without the need for custom mounting brackets or welding. Depending on the TR Series Recovery Winch selected, the system can deliver 12,000-lb (5,443 kg) or 15,000-lb (6,804 kg) rated line pull to ensure fleet vehicles can get out of any situation they might accidentally get into.

Boasting a 45% weight reduction over conventional designs, the UBL is the lightest utility bumper system offered by Braden at 275 lbs. (125 kg). Fleet vehicle operators can expect increased ground clearance, improved turning radius, and reduced front end component wear.

The UBL is also stronger due in part to its reinforced steel sub-frame with integrated tow-eyes for maximum pulling reliability. The system includes a standard dual work and flood light package. Both hydraulic planetary winch options are wire and synthetic rope compatible and can be ordered with optional wireless control for maximum in-field versatility.
