Bus and coach manufacturer New Flyer will be displaying its new zero-emission commuter coach, the D45 CRT LE CHARGE, at the upcoming Government Fleet Expo & Conference (GFX).

The commuter coach, which can reach full charge in less than three hours, features high-energy batteries that deliver over 170 miles of range in the 389 kWh model, and over 230 miles in the 544 kWh model. The new coach is ideal for fleets that are looking to reduce their emissions, lower operational costs, and expand commuter service.

“We designed the zero-emission D45 CRT LE Charge with accessibility and passenger experience top of mind, and delivered on unprecedented ease of entry and exit with a patented low entry vestibule, a seating area and ramp that significantly improves dwell time, and improvements in the ride experience for passengers with mobility needs,” Chris Stoddart, president of New Flyer, said in a statement.

New Flyer is prioritizing sustainability of urban areas through the electrification of mass mobility, with a focus on zero-emission buses and coaches, infrastructure, and technology.

GFX will be held November 15-17 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
