Makita presented more cordless solutions for linesmen and utility installers at the 2021 Utility Expo in Louisville, Kentucky. The company offers solutions for every phase of utilities construction and maintenance, from power generation and transmission to distribution and metering.

It includes added protection features engineered for use in live utility environments.
  • 18V LXT brushless mid-torque 4-speed 1/2 in. sq. drive utility impact wrench w/ detent anvil (XWT18XVZ): This mid-torque impact wrench weighs only 6 lbs. and is equipped with a brushless motor that delivers a full 520 ft.-lbs. fastening torque and 740 ft.-lbs. nut-busting torque.
