Agencies have increased the number of gasoline, hybrid, and gasoline low greenhouse gas (LGHG) vehicles it purchased in comparison to 2019. *Petroleum-fueled vehicles meeting EPA’s definition of low greenhouse gas (LGHG) vehicles may be considered alternative fuel vehicles when acquired for use in locations where alternative fuel is not available. Therefore, although these vehicles consume petroleum, agencies may consider them alternative fuel vehicles in the limited circumstances described.
