Idemitsu offers a new lineup of lubricants, Idemitsu 0W-20 Full Synthetic Engine Oil, 5W-20 Premium Engine Oil and 5W-30 Premium Engine Oil. According to the company, each uses the same lubricant technology that is OE factory fill at Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Kia, Subaru, GM, and others.

The Idemitsu 0W-20 Full Synthetic Engine Oil product is designed to help increase fuel economy while maintaining the protection required by today’s smaller, high-efficiency engines. Idemitsu 0W-20 meets OE vehicle application requirements for increased fuel economy, reduced engine oxidation, corrosion and sludge formation, improved emission system protection, and compatibility with sealing materials, according to the company.

Idemitsu’s 5W-20 and 5W-30 low viscosity engine oils also use the same lubricant technology that is OE factory fill at many Asian import and other vehicle makes, the company stated. The lighter viscosity oil flows better at colder temperatures, allowing the engine to crank faster for quick starts. It helps prevent wear and supports longer drain intervals, according to Idemitsu.

Each of Idemitsu’s low viscosity engine oils meet or exceed OE application-specific requirements for API service category SN and ILSAC GF-5, the company stated. They can be used in all vehicles for which a low-viscosity engine oil is specified.
