Maradyne's Turbo precleaners are designed to remove airborne debris from the incoming air before it enters the air induction system of the engine of a vehicle or piece of equipment. The precleaners help reduce downtime, increase efficiency, and lower maintenance costs, according to Maradyne. The Turbo precleaners remove up to 85 percent of contaminants through discharge ports to allow only filtered air into the engine. As a result, maintenance intervals can be extended by weeks or months, according to the company. Maradyne produces four precleaner models, including the Power Ram (pictured) for dozers and other large machines. Turbo Precleaners are available for engines with a 15 to 1500 CFM airflow range.
