OTC's Bravo 2.0 software for the Encore diagnostic tool is available in North America as part of the Diagnostics for Life program.

The software has been re-engineered in an update that includes bug fixes. The Bravo 2.0 update is provided for every Encore owner regardless of whether they have an active diagnostics subscription. Technicians will see a faster, more stable tool with additional vehicle coverage and a reduction in screen-to-screen waiting times, according to the company.

The update provides additional coverage for Audi, BMW/Mini, Chrysler/Jeep, Ford, GM, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo. It's the first OTC tool with Bosch's coverage database for European vehicles. Active diagnostic subscriptions receive a lifetime warranty on the hardware, and technicians received more complete vehicle and tool coverage with extended-hours technical service.
