John Deere has updated its K-Series wheel loader lineup with the addition of its 444K, 524K, and 544K utility class wheel loaders.

According to John Deere, users of its newest additions to the K-Series should see increased uptime, easier daily checks, simplified maintenance access, and the ability to work in all areas, regardless of air quality conditions.

Each wheel loader is outfitted with a John Deere PowerTech EPA Final Tier 4 diesel engine. The PowerTech engine allows the 444K (124 hp), 524K (141 hp), and the 544K (163 hp) to each maintain good boom and bucket speed in and out of the pile for heaped loads.

The 544K’s new standard five-speed transmission with lockup torque converter in gears 2–5 offers increased acceleration, speeds cycles, and optimizes power and fuel efficiency during transport, roading, and ramp climbing

Each model comes standard with an enhanced multi-function monitor with diagnostic and maintenance information, tinted glass, and a Level 1 sound suppression package that reduces engine noise heard by the operator and bystanders.
