The John Deere 210G LC excavator is the latest addition to the G-Series lineup. The updated construction-class model is equipped with a Final Tier 4 engine and is ideal for those working in the underground, road building, energy, commercial building, and pipeline industries.

“Outside of emissions updates, we’ve added a few new features to better serve our customers, including an optional auxiliary function lever. The AFL is a joystick switch option that provides proportional control for auxiliary hydraulic attachments that will improve productivity on the jobsite,” said Mark Wall, excavator product marketing manager, John Deere Construction & Forestry.

The 210G LC features a 159 hp certified Final Tier 4 John Deere PowerTech PVS 6.8L engine. Diesel particulate filter (DPF) cleaning occurs automatically with no impact to machine operation, and the DPF can go up to 15,000 hours before ash removal.

The DEF tank is located near the toolbox within the steps to the service platform. The tank features an integrated spill guard that drains any DEF spillage outside the machine and is located near the fuel tank to save time during daily service.

John Deere designed the new 210G LC with a larger hood for improved engine access, while still offering good visibility. The nine-pin diagnostic connector was moved into the cab to reduce diagnostic testing time for technicians. Other improvements include a single side ground level fluid filter service, which moves the engine oil, fuel, and hydraulic pilot oil filters to ground level on the right side of the machine.

Ultimate Uptime featuring John Deere WorkSight allows operators to receive pre-delivery and follow-up inspections; three years of JD Link telematics, machine heath prognostics, and remote diagnostics and programming capability; and the ability to add additional dealer-provided uptime solutions to customize the package to individual needs.
