Takeuchi has added two compact wheel loaders to its existing line of loader equipment.

The TW65 Series 2 and TW80 Series 2 wheel loaders feature a standard operator’s cabin with an air conditioner and heater, EPA Final Tier 4 turbocharged engine, 12-volt system with 95-amp alternator, pilot controls, and a frameless door for improved visibility. These compact models are designed to maneuver in tight spaces.

The TW65 SERIES 2 has an operating weight of 11,354 pounds, rated operating capacity of 4,050 pounds, tipping load of 9,171 pounds, and a bucket breakout force of 11,600 pounds. With an operating weight of 12,700 pounds, the TW80 SERIES 2 has a rated operating capacity of 4,445 pounds, tipping load of 12,700 pounds and a bucket breakout force of 13,960 pounds.

Both loaders are equipped with a water-cooled Deutz engine. Operating with a maximum torque of 192 lb.-ft. at 1,800 rpm, the engine delivers 73 hp with a rated engine speed of 2,200 rpm. The standard travel speed has a high range of 12.4 mph but both machines are available with a high-speed road gear option that delivers a maximum speed of 24.8 mph.

The gear system also includes a ride control accumulator to help maintain machine control at higher travel speeds. Other features include a new multi-function, pilot operated joystick control that not only controls all loader and travel functions, it now includes a thumb wheel to control auxiliary hydraulics.
