Hyundai’s HL760-9A WH (Waste Handler) wheel loader is specifically designed for waste handling applications with a larger bucket than the standard model and guards on the cab window and rear service vent/door. This machine is ideal for landfills and recycling stations where moving, sorting, and transporting waste efficiently is essential.

The machine is quipped with a low-emission, low-noise, 222 hp Cummins Interim Tier 4 QSB6.7 engine. Operators can choose between three engine modes — Power, Standard, and Economy — which enable the machine to switch between full power and reduced fuel consumption according to the user’s preference. In order to provide maximum flexibility, the HL760-9A WH’s fully automatic transmission features four step shift modes: manual, light, normal, and heavy.

The loader has an operating weight of 40,450 lbs., a 4.3 cubic yard bucket capacity, and a bucket breakout force of 35,780 lbs.

Hyundai’s HL760-9A WH was built with operators in mind, featuring a larger, redesigned cab for additional comfort and usability. The HL760-9A WH has been enhanced with rounded front glass and larger door glass, giving users improved visibility from all angles. Other amenities include an increased cooling and heating capacity with fully automatic climate control, tilting and telescopic steering, an adjustable wrist wrest for reduced operating stress, and an improved ladder with 20-degree incline and large, deep tread, aluminum cast steps, making entering and exiting the cab safer and easier.

Hyundai’s HL760-9A WH features an advanced, multimedia functional, 5.7” touch screen LCD color monitor.  The loader features an integrated load weighing system, viewable through the monitor, and a self-diagnostic, monitoring system with an active display of engine, hydraulic system, transmission, and electrical component information.  The LCD monitor is also functional as a rearview backup camera.

Hyundai has upgraded its HL760-9A WH model with a long-life cooling system and a relocated cooling fan and radiator, designed for additional durability and resistance to thermal shock, impulse, and vibration. The HL760-9A WH is also equipped with a redesigned steering cylinder lug and bucket link, now made of cast steel, for additional strength and reliability.

The new model features a tilting transmission for easier servicing while hydraulic oil coolers swing open for easy access and regular maintenance checks. This Hyundai loader also provides users with critical ground-level access to common service points, filters, and sight gauges as well as an extended life hydraulic filter and oil for reduced operating costs.
