Remanufactured Ford 6R140 RWD/4WD Automatic Transmission

Jasper Engines & Transmissions

November 27, 2015 - Products

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is pleased to offer the remanufactured Ford 6R140 RWD/4WD automatic transmission. This transmission is available for the 2011 Ford F-250/F-350 gasoline and diesel applications.

Each remanufactured Ford 6R140 is 100-percent dynamometer tested through a state-of-the-art software package, according to JASPER, which helps to eliminate the chance of shifting concerns.

Valve bodies are 100-percent remanufactured to ensure all hydraulic integrity is restored and vacuum testing of the valve body reduces the chance of low fluid pressures, causing slipped clutches and erratic shifts.

In addition, according to JASPER, the speed sensors of this transmission, along with the Internal Mode Switch (IMS), are tested  to verify there are no issues with the component prior to installation.

Each 6R140 has the latest style wiring harness installed. In addition, JASPER offers FREE rental of a J2534 Pass-Thru device to assist in programming valve body strategy and ID,  to ensure the proper calibration is installed in the vehicle.

The JASPER remanufactured Ford 6R140 is covered by a three-year, 100,000 mile, nationwide parts and labor warranty.

Rethinking Utilization: Using the Energy in Parked EVs

By Facundo Tassara
Think the return on investment for electric vehicles (EVs) is too long? Vehicle-to-grid technology allows EVs to earn money while parked by utilizing their large batteries to provide energy storage services for buildings, utilities, and the grid. Size Matters

By Sherb Brown
There is little doubt that the folks out there with 5,000-10,000 vehicles have a good handle on how much they should be paying; for everything from bucket trucks to sedan floor mats. But some of our recent survey data shows that vast hordes of the fleet market are paying close to retail rates for a lot of products and services.
