Fleet Facility Tour: City of Long Beach, Calif.

Government Fleet Magazine took a tour of several fleet maintenance facilities of the City of Long Beach, Calif. The municipality is now the sixth largest in the state with a population just under 470,000. Nissan introduced its NV200 compact cargo van for the 2010 model year to compete in the segement that at the time included only the Ford's Transit Connect. Additional entries since that time have included the Chevrolet City Express, an NV200-sourced van introduced by General Motors for the 2015 model year. Nissan's NV Cargo Van

Nissan entered the full-size van market with the NV cargo van for the 2012 model year, and has made incremental upgrades since that intial vehicle. The 2014 model-year NV added several cargo enhancements. The former Tow Package also became standard with paired with the optional V-8 engine.
