Meet the Man Behind the Movie: Rudy Ruettiger to Speak at GFX
Rudy Ruettiger, the first Notre Dame football player to be carried off the field and the inspiration behind the 1993 film Rudy, will deliver the breakfast keynote at the Government Fleet Expo & Conference.

Get your helmets ready, because a college football legend is making an appearance at 2018’s Government Fleet Expo & Conference (GFX).
Rudy Ruettiger, the first Notre Dame football player to be carried off the field and the inspiration behind the 1993 film Rudy, will deliver the breakfast keynote on day two of GFX, June 5. Ruettiger battled significant obstacles to achieve his dream of attending the University of Notre Dame and playing football for the Fighting Irish.
Today, the real-life Rudy is a motivational speaker and shares his inspiring story with school children, university students, and professional athletes. He spoke at the White House during the presidencies of George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, and co-founded the Rudy Foundation, which aims to strengthen communities by offering scholarships in education, sports, and the performing arts.
Ruettiger's keynote will inspire GFX attendees to dream big when it comes to fleet, work with your team to accomplish goals, and never quit.
Attendees who register by May 18 save $100 on a fleet full conference pass. To learn more about Government Fleet Expo & Conference, view the full schedule, and register, visit the GFX website.
