The City of San Angelo, Texas, approved $1.29 million this week for 30 replacement vehicles for various departments. Of these funds, $434,000 will go toward 12 patrol cars, KIDY reported, but the agency will need eight more units to cover needed replacements for the year.

The rest of the funds will cover pickup trucks for various city departments, including Animal Control, Water Production, Sewer Collection, and Utility Maintenance. Funding will come from the general fund, water fund, sewer fund, and storm water fund.
