The City of Ogdensburg, N.Y., is removing its two 6,000-gallon fuel tanks used for storing diesel and gasoline and will begin using fuel cards for its 90-vehicle fleet, the Watertown Daily Times reported.

The move will alleviate environmental concerns regarding bulk fuel storage and provide a better system of monitoring fuel use. The plan is to remove the fuel tanks and have the WEX fuel cards set up by Spring of next year.
