The State of California plans to upgrade the security system for its fleet garage after 21 vehicles went missing over Memorial Day weekend. The Department of General Services' garage in the City of Sacramento faced multiple break-ins over the weekend, reports Fox 40.

So far, 16 vehicles have been recovered by Sacramento Police and Sacramento County Sheriff Deputies, reports the Sacramento Bee. An investigation into the thefts is underway, but the Department of General Services has conducted a security assessment and review of the garage, has adjusted its security policies and procedures, and plans to install an electronic entry and exit system.
