A fire broke out at the Pensacola, Fla., Public Works and Facilities central garage on Jan. 19. The city lost three recycling trucks, with minor damage to a fourth vehicle.

The facility's compressed natural gas station also sustained minimal damage to the time fill hose connectors. It will remain out of service until the necessary repairs are made. Pensacola Fire Department and state officials have failed to determine a cause, and the investigation remains ongoing.

In a statement, the city said its garbage trucks and partial recycling pickups would continue to run their routes, though residents should expect delays in service until the vehicles are replaced.
