Ram Truck and the FCA Foundation have donated $100,000 to the First Response Team of America, a disaster relief organization which is providing recovery and relief support to residents in flood-stricken central-Texas communities.

"Ram Truck and the FCA Foundation are committed to helping our friends in these Texas communities get back on their feet and on the road to recovering from the devastating floods" said Bob Hegbloom, president and chief executive of Ram Truck Brand. "In Texas and across the nation Ram truck owners are the kinds of neighbors who are ready to lend a hand when you need it most."

The First Response Team of America and its founder, Tad Agoglia, will be on-site with their fleet of Ram vehicles and community restoration equipment to assist residents. Efforts will focus on home site recovery and delivering food, water and cleaning materials.

The Ram brand established a partnership with the First Response Team of America in 2012 to help communities across America respond to natural disasters. Since then, Ram – through the FCA Foundation – has donated more than $300,000 to First Response. As a result, Ram and the First Response Team of America have led similar collaborative operations in Tupelo, Miss., and Moore, Okla.
