Terex South Dakota is recalling 305 2013 model-year Hi-Ranger HR, HRX, TC, TCX, OM and TLM trucks because the platform rotate cylinder might separate from the brackets, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports.

If the platform rotates without operator control, there is a heightened risk of injury, NHTSA said.

The problem stems from the bearing installation. To correct the problem, Terex dealers will replace the cylinder, free of charge.

Truck owners can reach Terex customer service at (605) 882-4000. Terex's number for this recall is SN614.
