Jacobsen, a Textron Inc. company, is now serving customers directly in Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and two counties of West Virginia.

This announcement comes just weeks after Jacobsen announced the establishment of direct operations in North & Central Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. The company believes it can better support customers in these regions by servicing them directly. Jacobsen will be increasing stocking levels in these areas and adding additional sales and service staff.

Jacobsen will serve this region from two locations: one in Virginia and one in Maryland. Both locations will be equipped with fully stocked parts departments for both Jacobsen and allied equipment lines.

These changes come on the heels of Jacobsen recently establishing direct operations in the Western and Midwestern U.S., which has helped create success and stability for customers.

“Much like the recently-announced direct operations in Florida, Alabama and Georgia, we believe we can ensure our customers are getting the highest level of support in the industry by serving them directly in these key Mid-Atlantic states,” said Ric Stone, VP of sales & marketing for Jacobsen. “Our direct efforts in the West and Midwest are now well established and have been very successful. We are using what we learned to open and operate these new direct locations.”
