Rowan County in North Carolina has issued a request for proposal for a $1.1 million financing contract to purchase 31 vehicles. These will consist of 25 vehicles for the sheriff’s office, two ambulances, and four other vehicles.

The county is looking for a three-year, fixed interest agreement, and requests prepayment of principal at any time without penalty. Proposals are due on the morning of Dec. 4, when the proposals will be publicly opened.

The county owns 265 vehicles, reports the Salisbury Post.
