Government Fleet magazine has announced the Leading Fleets for 2014. The awards program, sponsored by Ford Motor Company and Property Room, recognizes operations that are performing at a high level, particularly in fleet leadership, competitiveness and efficiency, planning for the future, and overcoming challenges.
The 50 Leading Fleets represent the best in the industry, and among these, the top 20 will be ranked and recognized. Additionally, Government Fleet will recognize the top fleets in size categories: No. 1 small fleet (499 or fewer assets), No. 1 mid-size fleet (500-999 assets), and No. 1 large fleet (1,000 or more assets).
The Honors Celebration will take place at the Government Fleet Expo & Conference (GFX) to recognize these fleets and to announce top 20 rankings and size category winners.
The judges for this year's program are John Hunt, CPFP, City of Portland, Ore., Sam Lamerato, CPFP, City of Troy, Mich.; and Dave Seavey, CAFM, previously with the City of Seattle and currently with PG&E.
