Montana Stack, Ph.D., CAFS, was named equipment management superintendent for the City of Glendale, Ariz., in December 2013. Stack oversees a fleet of 1,300-plus vehicles and equipment, which includes managing the operations and staff of a 70,000-sq.-ft. state-of-the-art maintenance facility with 45 work bays and 16 equipment lifts.

Previously, Stack was director of fleet operations for Navajo County, Ariz., for eight-and-a-half years. He oversaw the operational readiness of all of the county’s 750 vehicles and heavy equipment and three maintenance and repair facilities.
