The City of Marion, Iowa, has given a company called Fiberight LLC permission to build a solid waste recycling facility that will provide biogas for the City’s fleet, according to The Gazette. The facility will charge a price that is a quarter to a third of that of diesel fuel. Other organic material collected by the facility will be sent on to an ethanol plant in Blairstown to turn the waste into ethanol fuel.
