Evans will be missed by her industry peers. A statement issued by Dan Croft, fleet management director at Collier County, and Vicki Duval from the City of Coral Springs, said, “She was an organizer and manager with a strong work ethic that could always get the job done, one who understood the latest and greatest in technology (and would help you with it), an ‘instigator’ who could bring the gift of laughter to any situation, and a ‘friend’ in the truest sense of the word. She was one who, just by being seeing her in action, could make you realize that, ‘if you could dream it, you could do it.’ ”
Evans’ family will accept visitors at the Fuller Funeral Home in Naples, Fla., on July 15 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. A memorial service will be conducted at 5:30.
