EL PASO, TX – The City of El Paso awarded a contract to Mansfield Energy Corp. for the design, construction, and operations of three compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling stations to service City-owned and -leased vehicles.

According to a release from the Gainesville, Ga.-based company, the City’s Engineering and Construction Management Department recommended the company to City Council as the highest ranked proposer based on evaluation criteria stipulated in the solicitation. The contract with Mansfield will be for an initial term of 10 years to operate and maintain the three fuel processing facilities on property leased from the City of El Paso for the fueling of the City of El Paso vehicles.

The design, construction, installation, and start-up of this project will be managed by Mansfield Gas Equipment Systems Corporation, one of the operating subsidiaries of Mansfield Energy, in addition to local partners such as Bath Engineering Corporation and The Garrick Group, Inc.
