TUCSON, AZ – The City of Tucson has received 19 new Elkhart Coach paratransit vehicles. The buses each come with a Ford E-350 chassis equipped with a 6.8L gasoline engine.
Each vehicle is upfitted with a front lift, an automatic vehicle location system, a camera system, and custom graphics. The City purchased these buses off of the CalACT-MBTA Vehicle Purchasing Cooperative RFP, No. 09-02, according to Elkhart Coach.
