MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO - Voith Turbo Inc. and Petro-Canada Lubricants Inc. are pleased to announce continued cooperation in the area of automatic transmission fluid used in conjunction with Voith DIWA Automatic Transmissions in fleets operated within the United States and Canada.

"We are proud to continue our agreement with Voith Turbo in North America for all Voith commercial vehicle transmission applications," said Doug Irvine, category manager, Automotive and Base Oils, Petro-Canada Lubricants Inc. "Our Heavy Duty Synthetic Blend ATF provides Voith customers with reliable, proven protection, to ensure that the highest levels of quality and performance are consistently delivered."

Following the success of the original extended warranty program first introduced in October 2007, Voith and Petro-Canada are extending the program for an additional three years. Under this program, when using Petro-Canada's Heavy Duty Synthetic Blend ATF in new deliveries of Voith DIWA transmissions (models .3E and .5), the transmission's base warranty coverage is extended from 24 months/150,000 miles to 30 months/150,000 miles, whichever comes first. In addition, the use of Petro-Canada's Heavy Duty Synthetic Blend ATF also allows Voith customers the option to purchase a 5 year/300,000 mile 100% parts and labor warranty at a discount.

"Voith is very pleased with the performance of Petro-Canada's Heavy Duty Synthetic Blend ATF," said Mark Bair, senior warranty administrator/oil monitoring analyst, Voith Turbo Inc. "It provides excellent protection and performance in DIWA transmissions, and gives us confidence in offering extended warranty protection."

Petro-Canada's Heavy Duty Synthetic Blend ATF is specially formulated for commercial and heavy duty transmission systems. Designed for severe service applications, this automatic transmission fluid delivers outstanding thermal and oxidative stability, extended drain intervals, stable friction properties and excellent wear protection.

Petro-Canada's Heavy Duty Synthetic Blend ATF is a Voith approved automatic transmission fluid that is listed on Voith Turbo's Approved Fluid List for DIWA transmissions (DSB 13R/DSB 118B) in North America. It is identified by GM approval number H36007 and Mercon approval number M5970801. It is approved for oil and filter change up to two years or 72,000 miles (116,000 kms), whichever comes first.*
