GREENWICH, CT - The Town of Greenwich, Conn., has signed a contract to implement AssetWorks' FleetFocus fleet management software, according to a release from AssetWorks.

With a fleet of 500 units, the Town of Greenwich sought a comprehensive fleet management software solution that would be easier to use than its existing software and provide it with additional fleet management functionality. Greenwich also needed a system that could integrate seamlessly with NAPA's Integrated Business Solution (NAPA IBS), which the Town uses to manage its parts procurement. Greenwich carefully researched several fleet management software packages on the market and made its decision based on market research and recommendations within the local New York City region, according to the release.

Greenwich will also take advantage of some FleetFocus optional functionality that can allow for increased communication of fleet data with customers, shop portals that provide an easy-to-use interface for technicians and supervisors on the shop floor, and dashboards that illustrate key performance indicators (KPIs) in graphical format. AssetWorks will also provide integration between FleetFocus and NAPA IBS for comprehensive parts inventory management, which can save time in ordering and fulfilling parts requests, as well ease requisition, billing, and reconciliation.

The Town of Greenwich procured FleetFocus through the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA). The NJPA provides the opportunity to purchase through nationally leveraged, competitively bid contracts. AssetWorks has been a partner with the NJPA since 2010.

Other AssetWorks customers in the region include the County of Westchester, County of Nassau, and County of Suffolk, all in New York, and the City of Norwalk, Conn.
