ALBION, MI – The City of Albion’s City Council passed an anti-idling policy for its fleet, according to an article on MLive.com. The policy mandates that drivers of vehicles owned, rented, or leased by the City will turn off their engines when the driver can anticipate the vehicle will be stopped for more than 60 seconds. Exceptions include vehicles used in emergency situations, in extreme weather, or when lift equipment is in use.
