HOLDEN, LA – Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc., America’s premier custom fire apparatus manufacturer, has been awarded a contract by Lamar County, MS. to build ten (10) new, heavy duty extruded aluminum rescue pumpers on International 4400 chassis.

Lamar County, located in south central Mississippi, has 11 volunteer fire stations that provide emergency services to the county’s forty-thousand plus residents.

The trucks will have left and right side full height rescue style bodies, 1250 GPM pumps with top mount controls, 1000 gallon tanks and a Class A foam system.
