HOLDEN, LA – Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc., America’s premier custom fire apparatus manufacturer, has been awarded a contract by the City of Oklahoma City and the Oklahoma City Fire Department.

Ferrara will build the city four new custom pumpers on Igniter XD heavy duty custom chassis. Part of a multi-year contract, these are Oklahoma City’s first Ferrara vehicles.

Oklahoma City Fire Department operates 35 fire stations, serving the city’s half-million plus residents by responding to approximately 70,000 calls each year.

Ferrara Fire Apparatus manufacturers a full line of fire and emergency vehicles, including their premium Inferno XD and Igniter XD custom chassis, pumpers and tankers, rear and mid-mount aerial ladders and platforms, rescue and incident command vehicles, Inundator foam pumpers, airport vehicles and the Strong Arm fire rescue vehicle.
