NEW JERSEY CITY – Patrick Bartole, CAFM, fleet manager for New Jersey City University’s (NJCU) Department of Facilities and Construction Management, was recognized as the Employee of the Month for June.

In 1994, Bartole began his employment at New Jersey City University as an automotive mechanic in the Facilities Department. He was promoted to supervisor of garage operations in 2001, then to assistant supervisor 3 in 2004, and in 2007 to assistant supervisor 2.

Bartole oversees fleet management for the entire University. He is responsible for the selection, purchase, operation, maintenance, and replacement of University-owned vehicles and motorized equipment. Through the years, he has helped to build the fleet department from its foundation. Working with a small staff, Bartole proactively administers NJCU’s fleet and controls related cost, while maintaining the University’s industry standards.
