LORAIN, OHIO – City employees will not be allowed to take their city-owned or city-leased vehicles home beginning Mar. 10, according to the Lorain Morning Journal.

According to a memo from Safety-Service Director Robert Gilchrist to all city department heads and applicable staff, ‘‘Effective March 10, all city-owned and city-leased vehicles are now required to be returned to the Public Utilities parking lot by the end of the business day, or other pre-arranged parking area designated through myself.’’

Mayor Anthony Krasienko, police and fire departments are exempt from the memo.
