DALLAS, TX – BAF Technologies, a provider of natural gas and propane vehicle upfits, has received CARB and EPA certification, including OBD II, for the Ford E350. The E350 joins the Crown Victoria in achieving full certification using BAF’s proprietary CalComp technology, meeting all SULEV requirements.

BAF already has an order bank of more than 100 E350 vehicles, and the company is projected to upfit more than 600 vehicles in 2007 across its growing product line, which also includes the Ford E450, Ford Crown Victoria, and the GM 8.1L.

Meanwhile, as market demand grows, BAF’s engineering team continues to expand. The company welcomed industry veteran Pete Campbell as project manager. Campbell previously worked at Ford Motor Company for 15 years in powertrain control systems, niche vehicles, certification processes, and regulatory compliance. Prior to his work at Ford, Campbell worked at TDM World Conversions where he also worked with niche vehicles including alternative-fuel applications.
