Alabama Woman Charged With Stealing Driver License Receipts

DOTHAM, AL – The Alabama Department of Public Safety said a 53-year-old woman has been charged with allegedly stealing approximately $40,000 in missing driver license receipts. The woman had worked for 27 years in the Dotham examining office. She was fired May 29. A Houston County grand jury indicted her on five counts of theft, according to an Associated Press report.
