CAMPBELL, CA – The University of Wyoming has selected Agile Access Control, Inc. to provide fleet management software and services for its fleet of nearly 500 vehicles. The award was made after a competitive procurement process that lasted more than three months.

Carolyn Smith of the university’s Division of Auxiliary Services department said, “FleetCommander provides innovative solutions that tie to the university’s needs and goals. The Web-based product is user-friendly. During the next year, UW Fleet Services hopes to increase customer satisfaction by permitting customers to make on-line reservations in an efficient, accurate manner, improve asset management through the use of FleetCommander’s reports, and streamline current billing processes.”

Agile has launched a fully-functional version of the FleetCommander Web application for the University of Wyoming. Unlike applications that are not web-based, FleetCommander is accessed on the end-users computers via a Web browser — no special software is required on each person’s computer. Agile is hosting the application in their secure, hosting environment. Users access FleetCommander via the Internet. Agile provides Web hosting, servers, all software maintenance, daily backups, and even emergency power.
